Alicante, Spain is a millenium city and it´s interior historic center is a good witness to this, each street tells it´s past leaving behind an unbeatable heritage.

From Alicante you must see the Santa Barbara Castle, built in the end of the XVI century, even if it wasn´t finished until the early XVIII century. In it´s interior you´ll find many interesting expositions that can be visited for free.

In Alicante we mustn´t forget it´s theatre, the Main Theatre, where the most interesting works of art are presented to the public.

On the other hand the Monte Tossal Room gives the city a place for those who enjoy literature and interpetation, it was created in 1995 specifically for them.

There are many expo rooms like the one of Lonja del Pescado, located on Almirante Guillen Tato street. Another important one is that of Centro Municipal de las Artes in the historic center of the city. Here is where all of the history is collected that belongs to Alicante.

This city also has more than a half of a dozen public libraries, like Isla de Cubas, Pla Carolinas, Virgen del Remedio, San Blas, Lo Morant, Quijano, and the Biblioteca La Rotonda amongst others.
