On the other hand, for nature lovers, Alicante and it´s province has numerous possibilities like going trekking through the many trail or visiting the beautiful natural parks with a great ecological value.

In alcoy you´ll find La Font Roja; in Calpe, north of Benidorm you´ll find the Penon de Ifach; Montgo is the natural park that holds municipalities like Deina and Javea; Las Salinas de Santa Pola; La Mata Lagoons; and finally El Honde de Elche are other natural parks found in this region.

There are truely many different landscapes and trekking trails, for those of you who want to visit places outdoors. You can take a walk or divie in the Marine Reserves of Tabarka with the Nao and San Antonio Capes. You can also go hiking to Sierra Gelada, Sierra Bernia or Sierra Aitana, all three located in teh Marina Baixa.
